I really enjoy tinkering with my guns. I have done everything from 80% lowers/ assembly to a full spring rebuild kit on an old HiPower.

I really enjoy ordering upgrade parts, watching Youtube videos, and installing them myself. This isn't just for guns. I also like tinkering with my truck and motorcycle.

I'm not a mechanic or a gunsmith, but I know my way around tools and I'm mechanical enough to follow along with tutorial videos...

Until today...

I recently picked up a Mark IV 22/45 Tactical from a CFF member, and I immediately started ordering upgrade parts online.

Today, I installed the Victory Trigger, magazine disconnect, new seer, and new grips... This kit was the biggest pain in my ask, ever... What should have taken 30 minutes took 3 hours.

I was cussing, jumping up and down, and crawling around on my hands and knees searching for escaped springs.

But, it was all worth it when I took it outside and put 20 rounds through it.

The upgrade parts were all worth the trouble, and after all that, I was still glad that I did it because this thing is a really sweet shooter (now).

Nice setup! Tandemkross puts out some really nice rimfire upgrades. I’ve got several of their kits in some of my Rugers. Noticed you used YT for instructions. You have one of the best rimfire mechanics in the state about 10 minutes from you. @Studentofthegun is the man with all things rimfire!

After the headache that was the Mark IV, I installed this OD Green aluminum mag well piece on my VP9 Tactical.

That took all of 3 seconds. Hahaha.

Get one of these. Well worth $10. I can confirm they fit MKIV.
