I tried to open the attachment, but it just comes up blank on my ipad. Maybe
@amnesia can fix it, like he fixed the blank screen this morning 🧐
Anyway,
I tried 11 different ammo selections through the CZ457 that I pulled out of a plain field stock, and installed into my MTR stock, which was missing the barrelled action it came with, now in a chassis.
Pictures show the rifle and its target. Those flatnose bullets do pretty well. Unfortunately, some Greensboro cops were on the 50 yard bay all day, with lots of 3-round bursts and mag dumps going on. They must get free ammo.
I only had the 25 yard range to test the ammo, so I used my Surefire suppressor for all groups. 10-round groups for all but one RWS Target Rifle group, marked as 5 rounds cause I have no more of it.
Of course, I had to shoot for score on one of my last targets before my HP ink vacuum drained dry.
The Cz cost me just under $600, scope was $500 and the stock was a take-off. Both the rifle and the scope perform way above their price point. I suspect this plain 457 will outshoot its MTR brother, given good ammo. It is much quieter than the MTR
The Surefire cost $500 and was in ATF hell for 1 year.
Wind was negligible, temp was 78F.
Cops were cops, annoying.
