Mcx virtus my ride or die rifle

It runs clean you can put a thousand through it and it’s still clean. The groupings are around an inch and a half, give a little at 100 yds. I’ve yet to have a failure at around 2k rounds. It’s extremely easy to take apart the bcg and clean. The barrel exchange is dumb easy all you need is a torx screw. No special tools needed no headspace tools nothing. Just got to re zero the optic. Another thing I really like is how it holds its value. Used mcx sell around new price if you can find them. It’s a piston setup so when I get around to putting a suppressor on it I can change the gas setup for it.

That’s one of the major reasons I haven’t bought one. I was interested in them for the lack of a buffer tube and piston operation, but you can never find them and if you do they’re marked up $500+. Don’t even start on accessories and conversions/barrels.

Sig recently announced a Gen3, so maybe that’ll actually have decent availability.

They got the 556 16in barrel that’s all I care about for the time being. I had 300 blk love it to death but I don’t see a need to be switching the barrels for 300 atm. Might need to buy one barrel just to have if they switch things up on me.
 
I expect it's a sweet rifle, but it's a Sig rifle so it's subjest to abandonment at any time and parts will be even more unobtainium.
