Hm, I believe I can see where you are going with this one!

I've seen a lot more black women at the range in the past couple of years.

I can't bring myself to ask them how they vote when the rubber meets the road.

All the new gun owners of all demographics, yet douchebag dems are winning elections.....

Go on the ak files for like 2 seconds if you want to see why black voters are hard to come by when it comes to pro gun stuff.

Coming from Chicago where guns had to be registered at city hall in addition to having a FOID card there were plenty of folks who felt the hoops to jump to please the politicians were too much and took a "2nd A" is my gun permit approach then kept their mouths shut. Then they went about their business voting for D as they felt the other platform issues they cared about were more important than worrying about gun control since they had their own guns already. Confiscation? Ha. Nobody knew they had what they had.

Back in the day it was Chicago/Cook County D, state R. Couldn't beat The Machine, so many chose to work with it.
Now the state is generally just a D craphole.

Rick's a jerk.
He told my wife she's too good for me. I wanted to keep that a secret.

He's a good guy though. He asked me to help out at year 1 of his "free shooting lessons for women" and at least half of the first 10 years worth of events. Going from ~50 women in a morning at a small range to ~4000 in 2 days at 2 locations - that's some big growth.
We used to BS at the detroit area police buybacks when people were bringing rusty old shotguns instead of stuff we wanted. Been kicked out of the area by police with him once or twice.

And I gotta say though, I never saw anybody in our ragged group of pro-gun folks ever treat him any different or do anything but support what he's doing. Michigan Gun Owners has been sponsoring his annual event for years, and I'll tell you that is an overwhelmingly white bunch of guys. Fenix ammo, NRA, NSSF, everybody sees what he's doing and everybody wants him to keep up the outreach.

I believe this was the very first event.
I picked the best picture of me from the bunch - the one where you can't see anything but my elbows

I felt a lot more free in Detroit than I did in Chicago. MI doesn't have great gun laws, but it was far better than Chi-town.

As for the voting, IDK either. The sheriff has always been a big supporter of private individuals protecting themselves.

That picture reminds me of a meme……if you know, you know. If not, treasure your innocence….
