This is going around forums, replying to WTB ads
Ive been screwing with these guys for the past month since I got scammed.
I asked for a wheel for a toyota and they sent me a picture of a motorcycle rear wheel...
Asked for a dash and they sent some ad pics
Just pestering with questions and such, wasting their time

I hate a freaking thief.
 
I’m a little late, I received a email also but didn’t see this thread. Sorry for the late “report”. I did just email him back saying I’ve emailed the guy twice but he hasn’t responded:)

The email is posted in the members section, Ive started the email process with one email, I'll do another account later.
I'll waste their time.
Im already getting paid right now to do nothing, so Im ok.

Agreed, especially since they say in all caps “machine gun parts”. Trying to set the stage that they were very clear from the beginning that these were MG parts.
 
Oh Ive already asked if these were legal to own and asked to see serial numbers on parts
He says he's in Macon Georgia - any of yall down that way?
 
odd question - had he posted anything here before? How long had he been on?
I got serial numbers back from this guy Lawrence
And he's actually willing to meet (I said I was close by and could meet)

Ive been messing with scammers the past few weeks, none get to this point

Apparently they're hitting up the Canadian forum also. Same scam, you post a want to buy and someone PMs that their friend has exactly what you're looking for.
 
As stated, I'll post stuff tomorrow, but this dude included an address (i'll look it up in a bit, or yall can 281 Sleepy Creek Rd Macon), and even a poorly photoshopped image when I said, "well to prove it's not a scam, hold up a peace sign with your hand in a pic with the receiver"

Google Maps makes it look creepy - at the end of a heavily wooded cul-de-sac quite NW of Macon proper, but it is a legit residential address. Property tax search for Monroe County lists folks not named "Lawrence" as owners. Is his last name Knapp?
