Millinial Anti Theft Decal

Have never owned a car for myself with an automatic transmission:

Toyota truck (don't think it even had a model name - was a long-bed fleet extra that I got cheap as my college car and kept ~ 12 years or so)
Honda Civic ( ~ 3 years)
Honda CRV (kept this one ~ 17 years)
VW Jetta GLI (~3 years now and going ...)

Wife actually enjoys a manual, but her vehicles have been automatics.

Millennial who wouldn't be repelled by a manual here :D

Got a 5 speed Civic in college. My dad tried to teach me in a parking lot but after a while of frustration, he got out and told me to figure it out, he was going to sit down. About 5-10 minutes later I pulled up, he got in, and I drove home. Maybe a year after I got that car I was driving home and the master and slave cylinders kicked the bucket. Thankfully I only had one stop sign to roll through, but I got that sucker home just by rev-matching. Ended up having to sell that car after a bunch of engine problems, but it was fun to kick around in. I filled the entire car up with firewood one time. Took the passenger seat out and stacked the wood in the back seat, where the passenger seat was, up in the rear window, and in the trunk with just enough room for the chainsaw. When I got in the car to leave I couldn't even get reverse or fifth because of how far over the wood was stacked.
