Very nice. Looks like made in 1980 or 1981, depending on the rest of the #'s.I found this one perched in a pawn shop for 3 and some change last year so, you know, I just couldn't leave it there all alone. The serial has 182 in front of it so some of you mini experts skool me on it. 🙂

Do any of you know why my mini-14 dents the brass every time it’s fired ?
Thank you .I think it’s a pretty common thing with mini-14 because the brass is ejected pretty violently. You will probably have to use an adjustable gas block and tone it down some to get it to quit denting the brass.

I prefer the M1 style ejector of the older series like yoursGood pix - need to figure out the sling attachment point on back end.
Plus reminds me how nice it is to have Ruger factory extended mags nowadays vs the cruddy Triple Ks.
