Southern California, with 5 souls on board. Prayer that they are found soon and minimal loss of life. That area is very rugged.

Incoming prayers for Our Family!

Doesn't say if they found a "helicopter" or "helicopter wreckage".

What did they make up? Vague not not mean lies.

I would prefer media hold off until there is something to say, too.
Fake News! is a thing.
I will frequently see multiple articles where news outlets feel they NEED to be 1st... before any facts are known. So I'll wait a few days before looking at them.

Ok. I’ve been checking on this story. And unless I’m really missing something none of this adds up.

First, they were 35 miles off course. The 53 had to have been flying IFR and has a hell of an autopilot. This shouldn’t be the case.

Second, they claim 5 crew members. When I was in the 53 had 4 crew members.

Last the crew were found separate from the helicopter. How does this happen?

You don’t bail out of a helo, everyone is usually strapped in (and the pilots definitely are).

The only scenario that makes any sense out of this BS is that they turned off their nav to do something black, landed, all of them were killed and then the helo was taken off and set on autopilot to crash somewhere else.

I think this was sort of a transfer flight so they had more people on board than the barebones crew. But I am surprised a bit this happend at all as well.

It’s also highly suspicious that they were found 15 miles from the Mexican border.

SEALs and Marine recon/MARSOC have a training area in the Chocolate Mountains not far from there. That is a well-traveled corridor for military aircraft.

I really have not paid attention to a lot of the specifics about this, but I do know that the weather was extraordinarily bad when they went down. Very heavy rain and very windy. I don't know to what extent that had anything to do with the crash or the difficulty finding it.
