I’ve got a Marlin 39A in .22. I know lever guns are cooler without scopes but my eyes are terrible. I’d like to mount a fixed or 1-4 variable scope with a 20mm objective and mount it low and forward.
Kind of like this:
Ashley performance only makes 2 products: mounts for 1895/336 and 1894 lever action rifles which use these extended rails to facilitate the forward part.
If you look at that link, with their mount and the right scope you can set up these lever guns low and forward which I think is going to work really well and look good too.
Anyone have experience with Ashley performance or similar mounts for guns like a 39A or 9522?
