Moving to Gibsonville

I would recommend the Alamance county side of Gibsonville if that is an option. Western Alamance is a good school district if that matters.

I'm not too far away.

I live about 10 mins from there depending on if you’re gonna be actually in gibsonville or just have a gibsonville zip code. You’ll be between Greensboro and Burlington(go to Burlington, Greensboro is like Durham). Downtown gibsonville has a few good places to eat, including Kimbers. Lake Macintosh is right down the road if you’re into boating or fishing. Holler when you get up this way.

Go to West Burlington, East Burlington is worse than Durham.

He’ll be right beside west Burlington

and it won’t take him long to figure out where to stop lol

There's some OK places to eat in the little town centre. I used to go through there quite a bit.

My parents live in the Alamance side of Gibsonville. I live in Burlington(name only) about 5 minutes from Gibsonville. Decent little farmers market they have for about half the year as well.

If you do any woodworking, check out the Hardwood Store... Pretty amazing selection of materials (including some softwoods, I think :)

Why didn't I know this???

Looks like I am leaving the seedy city life of Durham, for the beautiful countryside of rural Gibsonville.

Anyone live there, or close by?
Anyone know what is cool or good in the area?
I’m about 2 miles outside of there. Reno’s for pizza and other Eye-tallian
chow. Also, do not speed!!! I used to work for the town. It’s a nice enough place.

I did the same thing but im near east Burlington. Its not the best place to be, but nowhere near as bad as east Durham. Ive found that living in Durham for 37 years has prepared me to deal with most shady situations. I like it better in Burlington. It does seem that people still drive like morons though. Only difference is its a big ol truck instead of a pimped out crown vic. Welcome to this side my friend
