Let's see what multitools you have and carry
As some might be aware...I own my fair share. I'll post up as I go and think of it, but let's see what you guys are carrying too

And yes, I realize that there will be some overlap between this and the BLADE thread

Popped this in my pocket to see what I'd think of it.
The Leatherman JAM tool is an add-on to their Style line of keychain-sized tools
The Style fits in there nice and snug, and the design still allows use of the Style carabiner through he Jam's 'biner

The Jam has 3 wrenches on it - 3/8, 1/2, and 9/16
As well as a holder. cord manager for ear buds and a file.
It was made for skateboarders, that is why those particular sized wrenches

With the style inside of it you have two choices - the PS and CS. Today Im using a CS in it, though I carry a PS to my job each day (the PS is TSA approved).
The CS and PS differ in two ways
Each has the carabiner/bottle opener, and each as the file/screwdriver tool on them.
Where they differ is the PS has pliers as the main tool and small set of scissors. The CS has scissors as the main tool with a small, one inch (approximately) blade.
The Style line comes/came in 5 different colors: Red, Black, Blue, Pink, and, hard to find, Olive Drab Green. Im still searching for a green in either model, dont have it yet.

It might have neen made for skate boarders but I see a great.defensive tool.

If youve ever been one you'd know we were (are? I dont skate anymore, still got the boards, but Im not young anymore) always finding creative defensive uses out of our stuff.
Skateboards are a great one.

Currently carry the LM Blast..

The one mod I made to it was removing the lanyard ring and replacing it with a V-Cut I cannibalized from an SOG multi-tool. It opens packages/boxes, cuts webbing (seat belts) and works great for skinning game...

Skeletool in the pocket, Wave in the GHB. I need to get some of those bit cards.

Gerber Diesel, love the one hand deployment vs the Leatherman.

I just received my first, a Leatherman Rev, as a Christmas gift from the salesman at work. I've never really given much thought to owning or carrying a multitool but it's pretty awesome.

I've got a Gerber Recoil I don't carry as much anymore, but it tends to be my "luggage" multi-tool when I go anywhere, along with a flashlight etc.

If I carry one, it's typically a Leatherman Wingman I got on sale at Home Depot. Great balance between tools and weight and has lasted like a champ.

Nice mod ! I'm desperately searching for a new tool. But I think I'm gonna have to buy two to get everything I want in one and do some modding myself

This^^^. I picked up two Leatherman WIngman multitools at Lowes for Christmas stocking stuffers. Somehow one made it into mine. Handy little tool.

I have a Wave and a Wingman, as well as a few of the little ones, but I don't know the names of them...

For years I carried the leatherman Wave. It was the perfect multi tool for me. Not too bulky, and lots of functions. A few years ago I lost it, and I replaced it with one of the bigger supertools. Its great. Tough as a sweetgum stump, but its too big for pocket carry. More often than not, it stays in the truck.

Not long ago I picked up a leatherman sidekick. Its nifty! Does just about everything my old wave would do, but its spring loaded, and has a pocket clip for easy carry. Its not bulky either. I want to pick up a second one to keep stashed in my range bag.

Surge or wave most of the time. Every once in a while I'll go with the supertool or skeletool.

I have a SOG multitool, the mil-issue black Gerber, and a Leatherman Micra. I recently went to the Leatherman website and was astounded at how many there are now.

All of mine are old:
Leatherman PST II
Gerber Multi-Plier
SOG Powerlock

Leatherman Rebar

Picked this up at Lowes on sale for only 40 bucks.
I wish it had outside opening tools, but I do love the replaceable wire cutters on it.
I'll, likely use this as a donor tool, putting the plier head on my Wave, which is an amazing tool

For years I alternated between original Supertool 300 and the Gerber Multiplier. Just got the black Leatherman Surge for Christmas...which is da'bomb!!! The bit changer tool kit accessory and replaceable cutter jaws are what sold me on this model....

Where did you get your sheath/holster?

I carried a SOG multitool until I got real frustrated with the lock unlocking itself while I was using a screwdriver.
Then my Dad passed away and I got his Original Leatherman... memories, and it works better, so life is good.

You won't regret it. Great tool.

I've carried the Leatherman Charge TTi for ages. I'll post pictures up later, I'm currently having to clear a 64 Gb SD card, since my wife apparently doesn't realize we don't own the worlds largest memory storage device.

Skeletool for a while now. I've been pretty satisfied with it.

Good, simple tool.

I have a CX (carbon fiber kind), great tool.
Have a few of the 'regular ones' but never carried.

Picked up a Sidekick to replace the one the TSA confiscated.

Do you use the saw often?
I prefer the Wingman, as I use scissors more than a saw blade

I'm a fan of the GI Gerber. I think it's a 600? I like the one hand opening. I picked mine up at a surplus store for 30 bucks with a sheath. I torqued on the carbide cutters too much and broke them which sucks cause they're like 15 bucks to replace.

I never have... The first one I had rode in a go-bag until I replaced with a Kershaw Link.

Get your hands on a Wingman, you might prefer it. Where are you located?

I may have to... That or a similar sized tool with the exchangeable bits (already have a Wave.) I'm in Alamance Co.

Got a Leatherman "Crunch" from thrillhill s place and left with more wise food as well (which by the way was on sale for some ridiculous percentage off that you have to ask him about).

Anyway, first time I'd seen one of these and the size a weight are pretty nice. The locking pliers are a bit clunky for my novice hands, but I'll play with them some more and I'm sure it'll get easier.

Mind if I ask what you paid for them?
Ive been wanting a Crunch, one of the few I do not have, but never see them for sale anywhere!

Sorry missed that one.

It was part of a trade, so I have no idea what he can get them for thrillhill can chime in if they are possible to get.

Saw these on Massdrop and have wanted to try one out:

The swisstool is supposed to be really nice, I have only recently (Sunday) got to hold one in my hand.
My holdups are
a- its not a leatherman/made in usa
b- I dont like how shiny it is, seems more suited for a shelf queen than carrying daily and getting beat on
