Mushrooms are popping up everywhere

there are 3 mediums mushrooms grow in: wood, dirt, and shit. If they ain't growing on wood or shit, then leave them alone

Thanks for the reply, sorta figured they were poison. After the storm came through our woods are full of these spores, it would be interesting to know from where they originated.

I'd never heard of them until last year when I spotted this one.

How do you prepare yours? I am contemplating dehydrating half of it and using it soups and such. But it's pretty good sliced thin and fried with butter.

What are they & are they edible?
