Bro, they've been hyped up a lot for a while and Ive TRIED. I see a lot of bands I like that praise them but I just cant do it.
 
Yall need to check other festivals, a lot of these are traveling fests with differing names, like the Carolina Rebellion
Same bands, more or less.
 
To add - there are only a few bands on this one that interest me, same for last years Carolina Rebellion - Rancid being the top one, Flogging Molly, Coheed and Cambria. And Weezer.
Ive seen all before, and Ive seen all before in more intimate settings. Full sets, too.

With the heat of a fest, high cost of concessions, and then the shortened sets, typically, it just makes me not super interested.
One has gotten my attention in the past decade, Furnace Fest. But it was nothing but heavy bands (real stuff, metal and hardcore)

and you'd think my wife is diabetic the way she drinks water. No desire to spend an extra $50 on bottled water.
