Found a detective special in what i thought was good enough condition to add to the stable. It has some muzzle wear from i assume riding in a holster, but looks decent overall. Most of the blueing is good and there isnt much of a turn ring. I didnt want a collector piece because they deserve to be shot.

I love blued steel revolvers, and that's a nice one. Thanks for the pictures!

Everyone needs at least one Colt
Nice addition to your collection

Quick function test today. Didnt have any time but decided to run 6 through it anyway. Old antifreeze jug at 10 yards. 4 shots single action, 2 shots double a action. Bottom left hole looks like it had 2 pass through it so all 6 on target.

Stop That!!! Ifin ya wants ta shoot single action git a SAA.

It'll get a steady diet using both SA and DA. While these small revolvers were made for concealed carry, and close quarters defense (DA mostly), it is very fun to show inexperienced shooters just how accurate they can be when shooting SA.

As far as the SAA, I'd love to have one. Feel free to ship one to foothills jewelry and loan in Hickory, I'll be happy to go pay their FFL fee and pick it up! ;)

Nice Colt, just right for a front pocket.
