Why not? It’s never going to be quiet or hearing safe I’m just looking for a little easier on the earsThere is zero point in trying to suppress that.
The dead air wolverine can handle shortys I just can’t find one lol that’s why I’m looking for alternatives I’ll be following along as well of courseUnless you’re trying to contain the fireball.
Or trying to be kind to the person next to you at the range.
I have a 7.5 inch SBR. I decided to embrace it for what it is. I removed the flash suppressor and just went with a thread protector. If you’re gonna have a flame-thrower…. throw flames.
That said, I’ll be following along to see if there’s a 30 cal can rated for tiny barrels.
Do you have any experience with any of these or any recommendations?•Dead Air Sandman (K/S/L) has no barrel restrictions
•Rugged Radiant & Surge have no barrel restrictions
•Silencerco Chimera has no barrel length restrictions
•Griffin Recce 7 has no barrel length restrictions
•Rex MG7K and ModX have no barrel length restrictions
I managed to come up with a list containing zero silencers I actually own. Considering I have three dozen or so, that’s a little surprising to me. I’ve shot several of them, but don’t think any were on an AK.Do you have any experience with any of these or any recommendations?
No, I don’t have any of their rifle cans, just a rimfire and 9mm can. My YHM Resonator K works pretty with on my 7.62x39 AR though.I’ve got experience with the Sandman S. However, not on a 7.62X39 and on a rifle with that short of a barrel. Only on 5.55 10.5, .308 Win, and 11.5 .300 blackout. I have no complaints with the Sandman. Due to some member threads here, I’m looking at the Rugged lineup for my next one. @Derek8404 have you shot your Rugged on a an AK yet?
That’s fair thanks for the list thoughI managed to come up with a list containing zero silencers I actually own. Considering I have three dozen or so, that’s a little surprising to me. I’ve shot several of them, but don’t think any were on an AK.
The only reason I’d steer you away from anything on that list would be purely personal for me, so not really pertinent to the discussion.
Oh yea it actually shoots great the jmac furnature is solid and I threw in a wolf extra power spring I’ve maybe put 500rds through and haven’t had an issue yet even after the cerakote was applied - the only things I’d like to change is an optic rail and I prefer the Norinco wooden pistol grip they’re a little thicker I just need a way to mount one to this akThat’s a good looking rifle, and yes you’ll set the woods on fire.
Fired it yet?
