They had tubesI fought flats until my FIL said, "Put some damn tubes in 'em."
People still use those in the UK where lawns are the size of postage stamps. Super useful for lower strength folks because they do literally glide around.... but get above a couple inches of grass and you're going to struggle... at least that's how they were 30 years ago when I used one lastI was excited for a minute when i thought you were discussing the “flymo” hovering vacuum from my childhood I tried to get my parents to buy for my lawn duties.
wow googled and looks like it’s still sold in some flavors overseas https://www.flymo.com/uk/products/lawn-mowers
That’s what I was looking for but couldn’t find a close enough match.I stuck these on mine because I was also tired of dealing with flats. They work fine but are definitely rougher over bumps that pneumatic tires. Basically just solid hard foam so don’t compress much.

They see me rollin'.....Got tired of fighting flats on the
Front.
80 bucks for both from Northern Tool.
Had to add some washer for spacers. If I can go the rest of the summer not fighting a damn flat front tire it will be worth it to me:$

Does the slime work better than the old fix-a-flat? Got a rear tire with a leak and been lazy and haven’t went a picked up a tube yet.Put slime in mine and solved the issue. Yes it can be messy when you change it but it was worth the no flats. Tubes don’t seem to hold up well in the small tires for me they always seem to rip the valve stem out where they flex when they run lower air pressure.
Slimed work for me a little while. I was putting in in the tube front tire. It states it’s for tube and tubeless tires. Worked for about a monthDoes the slime work better than the old fix-a-flat? Got a rear tire with a leak and been lazy and haven’t went a picked up a tube yet.
What I figured, not worth the effort. I just need to get off my butt and go get a tube.Slimed work for me a little while. I was putting in in the tube front tire. It states it’s for tube and tubeless tires. Worked for about a month
I thought we were all supposed to be driving on "Tweels" by now?

Right there with ya. These new tires ride like ass. Probably going back to some kind of air tireI stuck these on mine because I was also tired of dealing with flats. They work fine but are definitely rougher over bumps that pneumatic tires. Basically just solid hard foam so don’t compress much.
