Myrtle Beach gun show at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. February 18 and 19th. Seeing as I live 2 miles away, I'll most likely end up going and protesting the protesters across the street.
How many tables do thy usually have at this show?
Last few times I've gone, it's taken me about 3 hours to look at the majority of tables. I can't give a number
Hmmm not sure, ill probably be there sundayI'm planning to go either Saturday or probably Sunday. Traveling with my wife and daughter and SIL.

Thank youI'm guessing 500-600. Just a guess, though. It is a goodly sized gun show, bigger than a lot of others, but not as big as something like the Dixie show in Raleigh, NC.
I will see you Saturday morningI’ll be there set up usually right inside the front door. Probably be wearing a Battery Oaks Hat. MYB is my favorite SC show. Great crowds and last show money was flowing. Also the best French fries in SC. Rumor has it there will be some cheap ammo. I won’t have any, but I’ve heard A couple of dealers will be dumping some overstock. Our group will have a good many S&W’s and Colts this time
👍I will see you Saturday morning
Why this trend? Not many guns were brought in for sale which seems to be the trend these days.
My guess is a lot of people bought during the “shortage” and paid through the nose and are opting to keep versus taking a loss. I also think another reason is with the internet people see “asking” prices on GB and think what they have should bring those numbers until they ask every dealer in the show and no one offers anything close. I was offered 5-6 S&W’s today and the seller’s bottom dollar was so far above what I would consider retail that I only made an offer on one. When my best offer would be hundreds less than asking price it’s just easier to say I’m not interested instead of hearing how I’m a crook and spending time to explain why my offer was actually fair based on what guns are actually selling for. Another reason might be people are scared to sell because they have Heard and read so much bullshit that they are scared they won’t be able to buy another gun later. I also hear at least once at every show is how if they sell a gun, how can it be “unregistered” to them. Those are just guesses but it’s amazing the stuff I hear at shows. Why this trend?
