Should be a great show next weekend. Florence show 3 weeks ago drew a record crowd. Dealers I’ve talked to are getting some inventory. Ammo is still spotty with 38 spl & .380 being the hardest to find along with Buckshot. The promoter was confident that all tables will be sold out. Almost worth the price of admission for the Convention Center French Fries. There was a report last year that @BatteryOaksBilly ate about a gallon bucket by himself and I wasn’t far behind. if you aren’t interested in buying, bring something to sell. I got a pocket full of money burning a hole in my pocket. Look me up, I’ll promise you will be entertained in some fashion.

What is the cost to enter the gun show...never been thinking about it?
Think it was $8 a few years ago, and seems like I heard a year or two back that they were charging for parking too now!

Edit: just looked it up, it is still $8 here’s a link from the promoter for $1 off admission, just a heads up you used to have to have it printed, they wouldn’t accept it on your phone. Doesn’t mention parking here.
Edit 2: per the MBCC website parking is $5 a day for parking anytime.

Just teasing you, I’d actually probably go, haven’t been to a show in 4-5 years, but I’m working next weekend so that’s out!

We will be there. Will be bringing down curios, antiques firearms, lots of ammo, mags, AR parts, P80s, militaria, surplus gear. Most anything but modern firearms. Too much hassle to sell them legally in another state.

We will also be looking for what we can buy in the collectible gun market. Myrtle Beach seldom disappoints in this arena.

Look forward to spending some time with the SC forum contingent again. It has been too long.

Look for the Catawba Collectibles banner and drop by to say hello. I hope to be wearing my new CFF shirts, but they are the discreet ones and may not jump out at you.

Nothing at ALL???? How does that work with a CCW????

Oh wait, its a military thing. "this is my weapon this is my gun, this is for shooting, this is for fun."

Your not going to Conceal Anything????

Sounds like Fries and a floor show for $8 bucks, what a deal.

I'm sure that you'll enjoy the fries more.

Okay no CCW in the gun show right? What is I am looking for holster for my weapon?
Every show I’ve been to, leave the ammo/magazine in the car and offer your unloaded gun to be zip-tied at the entrance.

Last I went (at the mbcc) to this was the routine. Same if you’re bringing something to sell.

Eddie, did you see Philip today? He told me you were paying a visit. He let me buy some 9mm.

You never even wave as you go by, man!! My feelings might get hurt one day.

How is Philip pricing his 9mm these days?

You can take your gun in the show unloaded. They will strap it at the door. Depending on the vendor and what gun you have, there may be toy guns there for fitting, but I would bring mine in. Who knows, you might get a good offer for it.
