Looks like an ass kicking comp.

Thanks for posting that! I know a guy who was in the unit-that-shall-not-be-named who is a multi-school grad who ran that. He and his partner placed bottom third, but he really, really liked it. He wanted to go back but could not make it work out.

Hat Creek is one place I really want to check out. My interactions with Brian M. lead me to believe he is squared away and a consummate professional. If you want to interact with some of those HSLD sniper fellas in the carolinas the Vortex Sniper Challenge had the most of any match I have ever shot. They were all willing to share any info they could if you asked as far as their equipment and approach to the stages.

Agree,
I love how most of the top Sniper Trainers over the past 15 years never were Snipers, or in the military.

I think Brian is filling the nitch needed

Contrary to myth and popular opinion, most of those guys like making other guys better shooters by sharing their experience and expertise.

Sometimes a different perspective and a different approach yields dividends. My friend referenced in my post above, he said that the schoolhouse was merely the ticket to ride, the price of admission. The real learning happened after.

Reminds me of a skit from Boy Scouts where the antagonist was a gunslinger named Naaaaasty Nancy. So now I want to see someone on that team take up the nickname Nancy. NASTI Nancy.
