NC Stippling recommendations

Hahaha it's funny you ask that. I've been practicing a lot lately I just don't have the tips for the different patterns and I cannot figure out how to do recessed boarders to save my life.

I’d leave it as is…

If you want a 43x with custom stippling, just hang on. Eventually, one will pop up in the classifieds on here. It’ll most likely set you back around $1000+ and it’ll look like a rodent has chewed on it, but it’ll be “custom”, “rare” and unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else.

This post has gone in another direction then I anticipated. It became a thing because it adds texture to your frame therefore enhancing your grip. Now that we've figured out the why can we move on to the where I can get it done locally lol?
Stippling is one of those things that are not well received when someone goes to sell their custom stippled gun. Many times, the seller grabbed a dermal, soldiering iron, and just go to work. Leaving the gun in a mess. Honestly, if I were going to get my gun stippled. I would use Danger Close Armament. Cost more, longer lead times, but they were one of the first real profession serves for stippling and their work is freaking awesome!

Looks like DP Custom in NC will do it.

I have a cz p10c i picked up used a few years ago(for a good price) that the original owner had some gunsmith do stipling on..its not bad at all.. i like it, and worse case scenario, I got a drop gun should I need one and an unmolested p10c to answer the question of why I got so many mags. :)

Op sorry dont know who did the stipling on it.

I did a glock using a stipple kit from OT defense and it turned out pretty good. They have lots different tips for all kinds of different patterns and you can also watch tutorials on their site and on youtube to help you with the proper techniques. Also the owner seemed nice. I called to ask some questions since it was my first time stippling and he gave good advise. Here is the store, and here are the tutorials if you're interested.

David did my G26 and it is awesome. That or wherever Peter Roos works. That dude is insanely good.

Edited to add: Roos is at Battlecock Tactical.

Lmao now I get the dog gnaw post 😂, appreciate the input but i still want it done.
You're a good sport about the ribbing. Welcome to the forum, you're going to fit in just fine.

Have you considered Talon grips or similar? The grip tape type doesn't comdemn the pistol to decreased perceived value if you want to sell it later. I will admit the sample @Studentofthegun posted is very good looking post modification.

Ya it's all in good fun! I actually have the talon grips on my 43x right now and I do like it but it's just not the same. But it is a great temporary solution

Yeah... spill the beans on the Nova.

Glad you took the ribbing about stippling OK. There's a legacy here of used DrunkStippled glocks for sale. It's a source of much amusement.

If the frame really gets ruined, you can "fix" it with a Polymer 80 frame at least.

OK, but now tell us about the car!

Not my car and not sure who it belongs to. I think it is a customer's picture that had some work done on their Glock.
