I'm from Harnett County and so is my Significant Other. When I told her once a few years ago I considered myself a Renaissance Man I was worried she might asphyxiate during the ensuing laughter.
My mom would yell the wrong name twice (there were 3 of us), then would yell, “you know who you are!”
My Mom was so mad one time when I was in my teens that she called all the childrens names(mine & 3 sisters) and the dogs name too.

Yea my mom would do that.
But more entertaining was when her mom, my Grandmom would get ticked off at one of the grandkids. There was ten of us and she’d get through most of the list before getting exasperated. Even if there was only one or two of us there.
Don't remember but I'm sure I deserved the whooping I got for whatever it was.

Never saw my Father much when I was growing up, I thought he was working all the time but come to find out it was cause he didn't like my Mother much. Anyways, when he was home he was always yelling and I thought my name was " Damit"
