Move along, move along
Ok I have been chasing a lite primer strike issue on my main ar for a while now and I'm at a complete loss. The build
PSA freedom upper
AIM surplus TIN BCG
Anderson lower
PSA basic lower build kit
AIG milspec trigger with 4.5lb springs ( yes the springs are on correct)
Magpul MOE furniture
I had 500 rounds of flawless rounds through her then I went to a carbine class. Then she turned into a single shot. Fire one round then click. Put 500 rounds through her like that. The instructor still calls me single shot lol.
I checked the head space with go/no go gauges. Passed. I swapped the PSA BCG to the TIN BCG and for some reason it fixed the issue for around 300 rounds. Now its back.
Fires 5 or 6 rounds then click. Wolf, tula, PPU, Winchester, and federal steel and brass ammo. Does it with all ammos.
I have swapped in a new buffer spring, BCG, and checked the trigger springs. The only thing else I can think is maybe the gas port is either not aligned correctly ( PSA built the upper not me, has a pinned gas block), or the gas port is too small and not allowing enough gas to completely reset the trigger everytime. I was wanting to swap the barrel for a lighter profile from BA.
Any ideas?
