New 870s back on the market

PSA Labor Day sale has a new production home defense style 870; looks like Express grade wood furniture on it.
Just happy to see Remmys coming back into production! Might grab a Wingmaster at Xmas if they have some out with nicer wood again by then.

Reading some opinions that the 'new' 870s are actually assembled from components remaining in inventory from before the bankruptcy and sale.

Makes sense but I am a bit skeptical that there was all that much inventory at the time - that costs working capital and $$ was in tight supply for the last several years of the 'old' Remington. Date stamps on bbl are a good indicator if Remmy still abides by the old methods.

After seeing nothing but ugly Turkish import shotguns around for a year now, I'm honestly overjoyed to see a new 870 being made.

Just please Remington...or whoever is making these... please don't mess this up.
