Hey y’all. This is a good site I’ve been using for a short bit and have gotten some stuff and even met an alum from Campbell. I mainly joined for buy/sell/trade and currently
Looking for more places to shoot around onslow. Preferably within 1.5 hour drive. I go to flat woods, try to get to ENC every now and then. If there’s any others that’d be nice and really looking for somewhere that has tac bays or like a more open layout to do maybe small movement while shooting, transitions, etc. also if anyone has land and would be cool about shooting and cleaning on it that’d be super sweet and would compensate too haha. Thanks I’m advance.

Hey man I just saw this post and was letting you know that I'm currently working on improving my tactical shooting range at my home here in stanly county NC and would like to invite you to come check it out when I'm done with it in the coming weeks. I'm a veteran Army Ranger E6 and have been continuing to keep up my skills since I have been out of the service and built a course in my back part of my property like the ones that we ran in training to keep me from having to pay and drive to other ranges that don't allow some of the shooting I want to do. But lately I have been training my wife and kids to run the gauntlet and they have been doing better than expected lol. But I also train local people in my area hand to hand combat and survival training and I have been trying to expand the course to have a better area to run but also make a smaller house like course to help train people and families how to protect themselves from intruder's and transition from room to room with accuracy and precision and eliminate the threat. But I'm currently finishing the second course and when I'm done I will send out a post to the forum to people that want to come check it out to setup a time and date to come. I will be starting the building of third course for indoor home defense after the completion of the second course and should take about two months to complete due to price and availability of materials and have to build it alittle bit at a time to put back funds be able to afford it. But I would be happy to help you with having a place to shoot if you are interested in coming to this area.

I’d be very interested in trying something like that out!! Please reach out when you’re open. That’s some exciting stuff in lane full of boring flat ranges. Especially when I’ve got guys who wanna train things of this nature in my unit, we’re all grunts lol
 
Welcome!.

There is B&R range just outside of havelock; flat range out to 200 yards. On 9 mile road.

Also Sureshot gunsports off of 101; .22 range, pistol, and rifle out to 500, and a skeet range.

There is an indoor range in newport; gunshop changed hands and I don't remember the new name but it's on 70 across from the little Walmart at Robert's road.
