Hello Jack.
From a former Ca native, congrats on getting out of that craphole!
Welcome.

Welcome. Visit a gun store and it will be like Christmas in September for you.

Welcome to the East Coat and the forum

Greetings Jack and welcome to CFF! I escaped Cali about 5 years ago myself here to SC and have never looked back.

Enjoy the forum. Happy to have you here.

Welcome. Born in Oakland myself.

If you are a Raider fan, PM me as I know a place where Raider Fans congregate for games.

Welcome to CFF!!

...and sorry you're surrounded by that hideous shade of blue. :p

In prep for the move, I contacted a friend who is also in Chapel Hill. He asked why I was moving, and I said that my wife was going to work for Duke. He said that I'm now "the enemy" ;)

Oh, I did. And I've expanded my meager collection since entering free territory.

I got my CHP, so I have instant purchase.:) So much better than 10 day waiting periods, tests, and having a roster of state-approved guns.

Thanks, but not a stick-and-ball sport type of guy. Internal combustion engines are more my style

Don't fall for it, guys....he's gotta be a spy!

Welcome, Jack. Pull up a chair, kick off yer boots, and crack a cold one. It can get lively up in this joint lol

Did you mark your path or something ?

@poller must have found some of those crazy "mega high capacity" magazines I sprinkled along the way to mark my trail out of Cali.

Ironically I bought my Benelli/HK M1 Super90 shotgun from a shop in Oakland back in 1995. Since it was Oakland, rather than put the mandatory lock on the trigger, they just handed me a handful of shells and said "good luck" on the way out the door.

Welcome, once again, Jack :)
