The last time I was shooting my .50 Beowulf, I was having some malfunctions with the magazine. I think the feed lips were stretched out occasionally causing the first or next round to go nose high and jam.

I have several brand new mags of various capacities; four, seven, and 10 round. Some are still brand new and unopened.

Anyway, I decided to go ahead and order some new mags for my Beowulf and my 6.5 Grendel. For the Beowulf I ordered two 10 round and two 7 round mags.

For the Grendel, I ordered two 17 round mags. I ordered all of these from Impact Guns.

When they arrived, they were packaged in Alexander Arms ziplock bags as usual. However, when I opened one and took it out to examine, I was surprised at the difference in quality compared to my older A/A mags.

These are Israeli made E-Lander mags. They seem to be very nicely made and heavy duty mags.

What kinds did you have failures with?

I tend to use Lancers myself for .50 Beo...

I have eyed those E-lander made ones though. Let us know how they work!

Sorry, I just now came back to this thread. I've been using Alexander Arms mags. Years ago, I ordered some magazines from one of their dealers, maybe Impact or MidwayUsa. My Beowulf and Grendel uppers came with a mag as well. These mags are basically mil-spec steel disposable mags with A/A's logo stamped on the base of the mag. No other manufacturer name is visible anywhere on these mags so I'm assuming they were manufactured by A/A at their place in Virginia.

The mag I was having problems with is an old mag that I have ran a lot of rounds through over the years.

I need to order some mags for my Beowulf. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shot this beast.

Gotcha, hopefully these new ones have a better service life.
