New production K98's?

I'm not sure what to think of these. They aren't correct enough for the milsurp sticklers, but they might be ok for casuals who grew up playing Cowadoody.

I am also skeptical that all the parts are "new production.

1.) mixmaster of parts. Maybe.
2.) zastava m70 with k98 furniture. That's what I hope it is.

I found out there's a k98 forum, and they hate it. I might like it in 308.

I had a Yugo M48 rebarreled in 7.62 with a new old stock FN military profile barrel some years ago. It was a great shooter, very accurate.

Thankfully Balkan labor is cheap, main issue would be logistics costs. With the potential ban on exports of Serbian rifles though, I'm not sure how the situation with these K98's will play out.

Zastava also made 98 actions for Interarms MkX and H&R. I have a H&R 340 in .308 Win and a Yugo M48 BO (7.9mm) but have an intermediate action. Wonder which receiver these will have?

True but that doesn't guarantee a cheaper gun, just a better profit margin
