New Recover Tactical chassis

I wouldn't own that ugly piece of crap even if someone else paid for it and the Glock, put it together, and gave it to me free. It serves absolutely no purpose other than trying to look "tacti-cool" and it even fails miserably at that.

Yeah, that is absolutely god awful. No thanks.

This feels like a regression of function, and reminds me of the "non conversion" pistol grip stocks for Saiga rifles and shotguns. They both objectively make the host firearm worse by trying to make it something that it is not. Both add unnecessary bulk for an aesthetic purpose at the cost of ergonomics. The recover ADDS parts to the system, while the Saiga stocks simply kept the rube goldberg functionality of the trigger mech.

I mean this gently, but this is a foolish design made for a market flooded with Glocks, and for the unsuspecting person who wants something "cool" for a relatively low entry price.

I only want one if I could put a 3rd mag in the AR grip!! 😳

The one in front looks like it’s in a holder of some sort, bet you by some spares and mount them on the side rails. Not sure what the holster would look like.

Ran across this today…I think it’s worse than the P-IX.

Id argue, if that has some sort of stock folded to the side, makes more sense then the PI-X, and being it has a vfg, id imagine it does. If it doesn't, well, this is just silly.
It looks like a folder hinge on the back, so I’m assuming it’s flip around to the other side.

I was, and still am, tempted by it. Not because it's awesome or good/better at anything than an AR9, but because it would let me put more rounds through my G34. Being able to do carbine things with my standard pistol I'm trying to wear out would appeal.

Also could be nice in retarded states where you can't have a mag fed rifle, but this isn't a rifle it's just a thing to go over your legal Gen 3 glock.

oh, i think it looks fun
the AFG is a spare mag holder, the central portion is the clamshell that holds the glock (or other gun in diff models), and the back half is AR controls and a brace/stock depending on which route you go.
for the lols and giggles, I want this and the MULE m4 stock that lets you store a spare glock in a swing out compartment.

Also, these are projected to be fairly cheap. carry your glock all day, drop it in the clam shell and have extra fun with it at the range, or turn it into a PCC for home duty. from some perspectives, it's 2 guns at once, for less than one AR PCC

I'll admit, i thought all of these things were absolutely ridiculous and i ridiculed them.
Then PA had a really really sweet deal on a micro roni. I found out i was hasty in my judgement.
I was blown away by how that thing made a gen4 .40 glock into a seriously reliable little package. and yes, i put a mepro RDS on top and rapidly and reliably knocked the snot out of my steel targets.

I really like my Recover Tactical chassis, just don't have anywhere to shoot or the ammo to do much if I did.

.....along with the Mule stock to hold a glock, I say we find a set of zip 22's and mount them on the side rails.
