new rock island VRF 14 12 gauge handgun

Well you can't just drop a picture and then leave!

How does it shoot?
Where do I get one?
Why didn't you call so I could visit?
I'll bring my own ammo.
Don't have one, just a pic I found. Don't see much use in shotgun pistols but it is cute.

Interesting. Made in the USA. Would be cool with a folding stock. Not sure what stamp you'd need.

Interesting, though probably not my 1st choice.

I wonder if a strap on the forend, like a Shockwave, would help with control or low-position shooting?

That would be no different than putting a folding stock on anything else with a short barrel. You would need to file a form 1. At that point it would be considered a short barrel shotgun which is an NFA item.

Right. You do in fact need to file.

If you could mount a folding adapter and a brace (instead of a stock), it would stay in the “firearm” category as long as OAL is at least 26”. Barrel length won’t matter. If it’s under 26”, it would be an AOW…and at that point you might as well make it an SBS instead, unless you lived somewhere that allowed AOWs but not SBSs. Same $200.

Like this one of mine is still a firearm…no stamp required.

Barrel was cut down to ~12”, so that OAL (properly measured with brace removed) ended up ~26.5”.

Interesting idea, ditch the flip up sights and put a good laser on it. As it’s only good for hip shots. Too long for a good bump in the night gun plus it takes two hands to operate.
