New Ruger Facility in Mayodan

I was told buy a friend who lives up there that they were looking at an old factory to turn into ammunition manufacturing plant. They have the firearm manufacturing facility already there.
 
Right now ammo prices are certainly a limitation to firearms sales, especially for items like Ruger’s 5.7 pistol, 1911s, revolvers and rifles. It is very much in their interest to augment ammo supply for this purpose. PSA went that route with AAC and continues to expand, which seemed like a smart move. Ruger may be looking to do similar. From perspective of a consumer and security of ammo supply, the more manufacturers the better.

Weird factoid, a LOT of Ruger employees come through my line at the courthouse
