New to me truck

I’ve had multiple people tell me to have it aligned as soon as the level kit goes on. They said just that little bit of geometry change will wear the tires if not realigned
I have heard of $150 leveling kits and $3000 kits on my Ford. The stock back end is all jacked up like a cat’s ass on my FX4 Off Road, but as much mileage as I got out of the tires I’m not screwing with it.

Nice find MM!! Following. To the guys saying lift kit for 33's..... they don't rub anywhere on this old truck, I'd think they'd clear even better on that truck. I even removed the factory 2" lift blocks. These are 275/60-20 = 33".E98DB9B9-9D74-40BF-8BD2-7A377B2F6785.jpeg

It isn't just an alignment thing, it's also the angle of the rest of the front end components, steering, suspension, all of it.

She’s coming along nicely. I like the pictures of the tires and rims you posted. Can’t wait to see how they look on the truck.

Not just the 33” height … gotta take into account the width. Your setup I think is about 10.5” wide while the OP mention 33x12.5-17's at 12.5” wide … that extra 1.5” to 2” width could be a factor on the inner wheel well rub.

Should’ve done what I did when I bought an older truck that was basically post-it pad yellow. Have one of those budget type places paint it ‘93 Ford Probe yellow. Forget door sills, inside the bed, etc…just spray the outside. Buy some basic chrome coated rims, and some yellow letter tires. 😎

Ahhh … 1999 … the good ol’ days! Before before all the stupid woke people actually woke up …

IF you’re gonna add color to the yellow ... black graphics and “Tonka” would fit ... especially if you could get a personal license plate like TonkaToy or such.

Good transformation on your rig @Majicmike I dig it.

A friend in college bought a Mustang II (pretty much the same chassis as the Pinto)… Bright Yellow. The POS which we dubbed it the MusTurd was truly a yellow turd …
Tennis player John McEnroe drove an orange Pinto at a teenager. This may explain his short temper and tantrums.
