New to NC, and new to this forum

No .45 or 9mm

No wait, meringue or Cool Whip!

Oh my the things we are going to put @Outlandish_Bandit through. Welcome to the forum buddy. Hope you make some more good friends here. Good folks around.

After 2 9mm to Joe Iraq's center mass with him not stopping, .45.
Depends on the dish, pumpkin pie, or parfait, Whip it good. If you're referring to a pie, lemon is the cats' pajamas, otherwise I don't know how to do the meringue. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Yankees....it's for naner pudding. Or as the more latitudinally enhanced, Banana Pudding.

Actually, after transitioning from the military to civilian life, I've found civilian enthusiasts in general to be much more attuned to specificity of nomenclature, regardless of region.

Were you one of my troops, however, I'd consider letting you off for correcting me by virtue of your correctness. [emoji6]

I've learned more as a civilian from civilian enthusiasts about different firearms than as a young reservist / soldier. 54B / 74D ;) Same year, we're probably around the same age.

Of course civilian and law enforcement have much better selection of ammunition in 9mm. With federal HST you get nice expansion and energy transfer, unlike with FMJ 9mm. If I had to carry ball ammo, I'd rather have 45 acp also. Given today's selection of quality ammo, I'm comfortable with a compact 9x19.

I've had this exact conversation with him at least twice so far...maybe three...

But as he said, you shoot someone Center mass a few times and they keep coming it leaves a pretty nasty taste in yer mouth.

@Silver_Bullet - 35yr old sapper trained 12b here, so possibly? I'm also well aware of the efficacy of available civilian ammunition vs the fairly limited selection available to NATO armed forces.

I did enjoy using Armor Piercing Incendiary rounds with the M2 on insurgent technicals though! Read: "melty pew pew"

Hello everyone!

I'm a fairly recent Upstate NY transplant to NC who was recommended this forum by a good friend of mine who I met at work, so just wanted to say Hey to everyone in here.

I'm an Army vet ('02-'08), husband (5 yrs), and proud father of two boys who's simply looking for a forum to hang out in and meet new people around the state and my new AO of Kernersville.

Nice to be a member on here, so many thanks to all for having his forum established!
Dude, welcome to freedom.
We escaped from MA back in 2008.
Love in Kernersville too.
Bill's Gun Rack is a great place to browse and buy implements of freedom.
I have cousins still living in occupied territory of upstate New York.
We live outside the town limits so we have a little archery range in the back yard too.
Thank you four your service.

Rochestarian here! I used to frequent your city for Bills games, and as a stop-over on the way to Canada when I was <21. [emoji482][emoji482]

Drinking age was 19 in Canada which was 30 minutes from me so I spent some of my younger days there...
