So I’ve done a bunch of FDE/brown mesh camos, pinestraw, M81 woodland, black multicam, an M81/multicam mashup…. I need ideas for my next one

I plan on using it in the woods a good bit from summer to winter, so something with a lot of bright greens or a lot of browns could stand out with a season change. I need an all season jack of all trades camo

I need some inspiration. Here’s the canvas:

Any colors or patterns y’all recommend?? Thanks

Rhodesian brush would be cool as a pattern but I’d probably change the colors a tad. I’ve seen it with a very light sand and a darker khaki would be needed, and maybe alternate the khaki with gray as the bottom coat

Theres a group on FB called "That's cool, now spray paint it" that has some pretty slick ideas on there. It's a pretty... weird/twisted gaggle of peeps, like be prepared to get hounded about feet pics😅🤣 but some very good spray paint jobs on rifles for dang sure

Tried sponge; I like it but not enough to do on my rifle. This pellet gun has probably 20,000 test coats of paint over the years

I'm gonna get some medium-dark gray and blend the gray, brown, tan, and green with slightly more pronounced spots of the individual colors then mesh spray a bit here and there on the tester and see how it looks

I dig it. I'm generally a fan of the sloppier looking patterns though.

How did you find them? Few of the admin are my personal friends.
Interesting! A buddy of mine said I should check them out for good "🅱️aint" ideas😂🤣
We were talking about rattle canning our junk, mentioned it so I joined. Haven't been disappointed by the drum ritual, piggies or 🅱️aint lol🤣

@Dr. Death he's into the 🅱️aint and 🅱️ointing

I think @PurpleWalrus is an admin also. The creater of the page isn't on this forum unfortunately.

I normally make my own stencils but in an effort to save time and I really like this pattern:

I think I’m gonna do bottomlands vinyl stencils by weapon works

Base layer of khaki and maybe gray with brown and a couple shades of green

I’ll practice on my pellet rifle with some generic painters tape stencils to see if I like the color scheme first

@Squanchy hahaha such a small world😅 cool to know

@PurpleWalrus so who is responsible for the 🅱️iggie fetish thing?
I am a day one admin as well we also have discount for stencils on a pinned post if you guys are interested as well .no clue on 🅱️Iggies . Guns and feet have been a thing since the internet was invented .

Here we go

Step one prep and clean no pics. Normally I’ll slide a paper towel tube or two over the barrel under the rail but this time I said nahhh. Im also not camoing my suppressor, just spraying a flat khaki. I have some camo wrap on my Steiner but I’m debating doing it flat khaki also

Step two: base coat khaki

Next coat: espresso brown

Will update later with next steps once brown cures

sneak peek

This batch of olive paint from krylon wasn’t as drab olive as the last batch I had. A hint more jungle green than drab which isn’t quite what I wanted. I might mist it with rustoleum deep forest green or do a couple passes over some mesh with it. Haven’t decided yet

I like the pattern and how that turned out though. Time to clear coat and paint my suppressor, light, and PX4i all khaki to match

Spray green and let cure

Finished up with a matte clear coat to knock down any shine then wiped the whole thing down. Painted suppressor, light, a mag, and scope krylon khaki

The colors are very similar to Kuiu Vias camo but still wish the green was a tad more olive like the can said and my last batch of it was. I still like it though

Help an old feller holding onto trying to be a hip cat for far too long...what's with the...
There was a dumb Facebook fad going on where people would point firearms at their bits. Lady folk and men were doing it, some even going as far to tickle the trigger while pointing. Other idiots would show the loaded firearm prior to doing it in a video. I am not quite sure why but boint and benis was the term used and it kind of stuck with the mouth breathers that tend to circle around firearm groups on Facebook.

And yes someone did shoot themselves in the nono-zone. I actually think it made CNN or something for "bointing" being a far right extremist thing. This was going on around the same time there was a moving target for whatever you want to call the second revolution to avoid censorship on social media platforms.

b is an upside down p
If boint is point then benis is penis.
Point at your penis.
