Night Vision Subforum

That’s a great idea. I’m looking to get into it.

I’m between the AGM RATTLER TS35-384 or the ATN Thor 4 384 on the thermal side. Looking at the Sightmark Wrath on the NV side. I’d love some feedback from y’all on here. I’m just dipping my toes into it now but have been wanting to get something for a while. I love coyote and fox hunting. Grey foxes don’t mind a light but reds and coyotes don’t like one and get skittish.

If you are looking for a weapon-mounted optic I would not even consider NV. Thermal is a game-changer.

In that price range, I would consider Bering Optic's Hogster lineup or the Pulsar Talion.

Looking at a PVS14 from TNVC, think the sub forum would be a good idea, don’t know how activity it will generate though.
We’re about to find out

I will say tnvc is the bees knees. Very good products and vic( think that was his name) walked me through everything I needed and didnt need. They’re stuff is very high spec tubes. You will not be disappointed. Data sheets on every tube too.

Thank you!

I know of 2 places, one in Carthage and another in Ellerbe NC. When I’m able to DM I’m happy to send more info your way.

Do you have any good night shooting spots in NC?

I know of Coleman’s Creek (Ellerbe) but don’t know of the Carthage location. Carthage is in my back yard : )

The other accessible night shoot for us is 37PSR’s monthly “Friday Night Fight”, north of Fayetteville. It’s a great shooting experience but, the price has almost doubled and you get just one run through the shoot house with no direct feedback from the guru so, I’ve stopped going.

@Tim and @VOD Tactical host a night shoot 3-4 times a year in Old Fort. Great “match” but, quite a long drive for us.

It seems we may be neighbors. Sorry you haven’t received a DM from me yet, I’m still unable to send messages. Also, my apologies to everyone forced to read my side-bars on this thread.

Coleman’s is the Ellerbe range I was referring to haven’t shot there yet but would like to.

If you message me and I figure out the ropes of this forum(again sorry), we’ll get you out to the Carthage range one of these nights. It’s privately owned.

I’m interested in the Friday night fight at 37psr now. I think I’ll have to go check l that out.

Wow nice setup, guess I’m starting out with the mono setup once the black PVS14 is back in stock. I have the Wilcox G11 mount.
Thank you!

I like those Wilcox mounts they’re awesome.

One of my reasons for buying a 2nd pvs14 was so I can still use a monocular setup. Gets the job done, and it’s just too easy to ball up in a crye nightcap and toss in a pack or a pouch.

Looking forward to hearing about your setup when it arrives.

You will fully enjoy that unit. Tnvc are good people. I know the specs on your tube is really good coming from them. Now you get to jump down the rabbit hole of accessories!

So I obviously am in need of a counterweight setup for my helmet. What are you folks using if anyone is using the same antiquated helmet I am.
