Nothing shown in eforms portal

I am new to eforms, all of my other suppressors were submitted on paper forms.

I submitted, with the help of THSF, an eform back in August. I got a little bored today and wanted to make sure I could actually login to the system and see things.

Well I can log in, but I see nothing in the submitted drop down tree. That doesn’t seem right,…

Any thoughts?

A little more reading indicates that this would actually show up in the dealer’s SUBMITTED section and not mine. Sound right?

Yes, that is the same answer I got from my LGS when I asked them the same question (and from the ATF when I called to get the status on a eForm 4 submission)

Yep. Even after it’s approved, it’ll never show up in your account. Which is stupid, since you had to set up an account and link them to the dealer when you submitted it.

Once it is approved, common sense would dictate that it shows up under “My Forms”, since it is now, “my” suppressor…

But it is “common sense” and they don’t do that around there.

Definitely. My jaw dropped a bit when I saw nothing under submitted, until I understood the situation anyway.

Yeah I foolishly thought that form 3 to dealer, makes sense that it shows in their account. But after a form 4 to me, it would show in mine.

Wanna keep it in the transferrors eForms until it gets approved? Fine, but once it is approved, how bout moving it to MY eForms acct since it is now MY item.

Don’t want to move it? Well, give us the accessibility/option to add it to our own “My Forms” folder. Guess it’s my OCD, but “My Forms” should show 4s, not just 1s…it is MY tax form.

I wouldn’t think it’d be too terribly difficult to add a “Transferred” folder to everyone’s eForm account…dealer could move all transferred items from “Approved” to “Transferred”, as could an individual, should they decide to sell a can/SBR/SBS to someone (scan the paper form, convert to PDF and import it to eforms).

Shouldn’t even need a Transferred folder.

You had to sign up for an eForms account.
Dealer had to have the SN in their inventory.
You had to input your email & PIN to have it transferred to you.
You automatically received an email when it was approved, because you were tied to that SN.
…yet they couldn’t figure out how to have that SN move from one account to another, even though they do it with Form 3s every day. 🙄
