“Springfield, VA – Earlier this week, Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Gun Owners Foundation (GOF) announced that GOA v. Garland — the leading case that challenges the arbitrary and unconstitutional bump stock ban by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) — is advancing before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Furthermore, this case is the only bump stock challenge that has been victorious in achieving the common sense court ruling that a bump stock — which is composed of plastic and a metal screw — is not a machinegun. GOA and GOF have defended the Second Amendment against even the slightest infringements for 45 years and are completely committed to fighting this ban on bump stocks to the very end.

Today, it was announced that the National Rifle Association has filed an amicus brief in support of the GOA and GOF case.“

Where was the NRA before? Oh that’s right, SUPPORTING THE BAN! Now they’re jumping on the bandwagon to try to stem the flow of members they’re losing to GOA. Too little too late.

Just a play to get a headline so some ancient old fart with a NRA trucker hat will continue to send money. “They uh fiten fir ar rights buddy.” So the older men keep telling me and damn if they don’t get mad when you tell them about crooked spending Wayne with their contributions. Not about the corruption. They get mad that they didn’t know what the NRA does with their checks and you are informed and they are a fool.

I would pretend to be a protector of 2A rights, make a whole ton of money and then compromise on every infringement that I didn't outright support (NFA34, BS ban, etc). You know, like the NRA.
