The world is big, bullets are small.I’m amazed more people aren’t hit by random rounds.
I'm a little surprised no charges. I could have seen charges being filed because he is a cop.
After the guy saw the cop guy had a gun, he decided he didn't want to go there and turned to leave. He was murdered plain and simple. At no point did the guy point the weapon at the officer. The time to shoot was on the approach, not when the confrontation was over. Cop should go to prison.
Just being sure everyone saw the rag the van guy pulled out from under his hood, that looks like it a gun in it.

Guy was a felon. Said so in the intro. He pulled a gun he shouldn't have even had. He got what he asked for.
Doesn't matter if he was a felon. You can't shoot people in the back, running away unless they pose a threat to others and he clearly did not.
@J R Green We’re at gridlock on this one. What say you.
Hey. I was mostly serious.

JR is pretty spot on with his analysis most the time even if a little blunt.Hey. I was mostly serious.
Mostly.
I have had just enough Jameson to say out loud that I have finally figured out how to read his posts and appreciate the value, while ignoring the delivery. There’s just one other guy on this forum I need to learn how to do that with.JR is pretty spot on with his analysis most the time even if a little blunt.

It did look like 20 yard target practiceWhen the first shot was fired i feel like I could explain that. But not the last one.

If the felon got away and shot someone else then some would ask why didn't the off duty good guy do his job
Moral obligationThat's easy to answer, when I'm not working I don't have to account for why I'm not performing my job duties. Off duty is off duty.
