For the past 6 to 8 weeks my father has been battling a issue where his blood platelets have been dropping. One time the count was 2. The docs get the counts up send him home and he rebounds back in the hospital.
He has had all types of test to include testing his bone marrow.
The docs think that his body had some type of virus and the antibodies his body produced is what is killing his blood platelets.
The VA docs have sent him to Duke to take treatments to see if they can get rid of these antibodies. He's there now.
This is wearing on mom too. My younger brother has arranged a hotel for mom that is within walking distance of the hospital so she can be with him.
I would appreciate it if a few prayers were sent their way. Both my parents are believers in Christ and we are looking for healing.
