One for all and all for none?

Bottom line is, if after all the BS that's gone on in this country over the past 10-15 years and you have not prepared yourself by purchasing ammo and firearms when they were readily and inexpensively (relatively speaking) available....you have no one to blame but yourself.

D*mn skippy.

Quit blaming others for your own short sightedness and using that to justify stealing what others rightfully own.

I pulled a Glock 17 out of the safe to let a friend use till his permits come in ( F U Wake County) and a couple boxes of ammo for him to get the feel of the gun.

Sticker on the ammo was $7.95. His jaw dropped and said "Do you know what a box is now?"

My replay was "No, I don't buy during panics"

Rotate your stash if your worried.

This is my problem. I have some 38/357 and 22 LR dating back to 1974 (new and reloads) that are in back of my storage cabinet that I am not going to move stuff in front of them just to shot them. It is interesting to see the cost on some ammo back in those days.

Thinking back, the only ammo that I have ever resold was some 7.62x39 when they came in wooden cases. Maybe 1000-1200 rounds. I was at a gun show and bought 3 or 4 cases and only had 1 SKS. Think I sold 2 cases. Giving away ammo is another question.

People have the right to sell their property however they see fit, at any price they can find a customer willing to pay.

Everyone else has the right to pay the price... or not. And they also have the right to complain about it, regardless if you like it or not. Funny how rights work.

But for me, rights and morals are sometimes at odds with each other. There's an old saying. "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should". I'd rather help out a friend, (or make a new one) than put a few extra dollars in the coffee can just because someone's desperate.

Finally! Somebody made the point that I was too inarticulate to state clearly! Mundo-mega-like!

If the bottom drops out of the price of ammo in 6 months, should you then pay someone today's price if you buy some from them? After all, you should be nice to your fellow forum members. If they bought at $0.35 a round and it drops back to $0.17 a round, how could you live with yourself knowing that your brother in arms was losing money?
