OUCH! Who saw this coming?

I have never found these funny. Not that the OP posted it to be funny. But it pisses me off when crap like this happens. There are countless gifs and videos of women being set up by their boyfriends and husbands to get hurt with a massive recoil.

This is the kind of crap that turns women off from guns and shooting.

I'm with Chdamn here. It is neither entertaining nor amusing to see this kind of stuff (not picking on OP at all). And honestly, this isn't necessarily a "woman" thing. Put one of those in the hands of a man "newby" and expect the same results. This type of thing is what shooting sports don't need and, best I can tell, these are somehow designed to make their male counterpart feel more MANLY. If that is what it takes, I'm guessing you need someone to pinch hit for you between the sheets!

I've never understood the appeal of tricking a woman into hurting themselves, possibly severely. Makes me kind of want to hit somebody with a mason hammer and say "oh, my bad".
Would have been just awesome if she were to have spun around and clubbed him with it then ask him how THAT felt!

Agreed. Reminds me of that case where some guy let his inexperienced girlfriend shoot his S&W 500 magnum. The recoil caused her finger to come off the trigger just enough for it to reset and then pull it again while it was then aiming at her head. She was killed because of her boyfriends negligence. Like you, I don't understand how people can think that this is funny or a good idea.

I hope she coal cocked him after that.

The lady's son posted about this on Reddit. Apparently she really wanted a pistol grip shotgun. He told her they were pointless, but he insisted. He agreed under the condition that she not shoot it without him present. Apparently the lady's friend found out about it and they went to the range without the son's knowledge.

Of course, take that with a grain is salt, it is reddit after all.

I know an ignorant & cocky can’t tell him anything guy that bought one of those, that didn’t make it into the Rangers. He told someone to record the first time shooting it. He busted his lip, purpled his eye and cheek, then shared it with me.
No, I was not able to keep a strait face.

And that is how you turn off a possible gun owner. I don’t mind seeing idiots pull stupid stuff on themselves but when a person who needs more guidance rather than ridicule and you don’t help why the hell hurt them? POS that allowed that to happens needs to be handed a .458Lott and tell him “it just pushes a little”.
