Different seasons, too.

In the chatbox, @Cole_McD was asking about shorter barrels in 300blk for hunting. I struggle with using my tablet for "chat," so instead of saying, "Ja, ze short barrel verks," I figured I would post some pics.

Much easier, and possibly, more entertaining.

The neck shot deer, I was using PNW 187gr subs, usually 50yds or less. The heaviest deer I've ever killed (a 200lb 6pt) was taken with that round.

Now, this is embarrassing, but because I tossed the boxes, I have no idea what the soft point supers are that I'm using on hogs. I do think they are 110gr, though. Edit: Unless these were reloads a buddy asked me to try out, hence no boxes.

DANGGG a processer!!?! I'm used to gutting it throwing 2 bags of ice in the cavity and throwing him on top of the dog box and driving to merchants (gas station grill) getting lunch and fiddle farting around for 4 or 5 hours before going home killing a 6 pack while I skin it out and hang the meat in a fridge to age.

I didn't realize y'all southern Carolina Bois had money like that to pay one of them there processin people.

I'll be doing my own this year. But to do that, I gotta kill one.

To do that, I gotta hunt.

I'll be camping this weekend. Ugh.

Got an H&R Handi Rifle in 300 BLK. It's a deer killing machine. I've gone to supers for hunting though. Sounds like I'm deer hunting with a .22 using a can. Love it.

Yeah. I was reloading subs and not getting the performance I wanted. So I went to full power rounds. The deer donā€™t pay them much attention when they are suppressed either.
