So this image from NOAA is a probablility chart of TROPICAL STORM force winds. People are reading this as projected WIND SPEEDS.

Since Franklin has no bearing tot he US I have ignored it. Idalia is projected to hit as a cat 3, a good possibility a cat 4.

In all seriousness, what I like less than the track is the way it goes out to sea and stalls. Has the makings of a loop-d-loop storm that hits twice.

Many models are showing a recurve and it hitting the east coast of Florida as a tropical storm. Talk about getting screwed.

It made cat4 before landfall. That hanging out off our coast is worrisome. Storms have been known to strengthen back up and hit again.
