Jeez, I was thinking tomorrow is Saturday
Whew...

So I'm assuming I'm good to go? Friday morning s are my normal time, so I didn't expect any issues. But I also joined a couple months ago.l instead of waiting for the open house, so I wasn't keeping track of the date.

I have been a member for years and have never made it out to an open house. Will pistol bays be open? I have a pistol I need to break in.

I'll be at open house tomorrow, going to spend a little time on the 22 range

Another great open house, even though the crowd seemed a bit 'lighter'...
the Andy and Jay traveling functional museum was there with about 100 years of firearms covering Civil war to Vietnam era.
just to drop some names, Spencer, Burnside, Peabody, Joslyn, Krag, Winchester, Garand.. you get the picture...
but all functional and with ammo.
Though I did not shoot any of them this year, it was a 'blast' seeing others Ring the 100yd gong...
Amazing this year, i was able to SEE the spencer round travel to the target.... un-real..
Thanks to Andy and Jay for their participation and generosity.

Thanks to Fred for some good hot dogs and all member's and visitor participation.

No pics this year...
But from 2016

Those two are AMAZING guys, holy crap
I posted in another thread, I shot the Jocelyn (I think that's what it was called) 50-60 or something from mid 1800s
Took 3 shots, missed the gong. I decided to bow out at that point

Their collection is amazing, and they SHOOT THEM!

I love that they love sharing their guns and happiness with others, that's just stand up folks right there

^^^^
folks just don't know...
Most of these are actually "custom" guns converted to safely fire centerfire cartridges using smokeless powder.
Andy machines the necessary components (breech blocks, etc) and 'makes' some of the brass..
One year he removed the breech block from his spencer and installed in a visitor's spencer to let them shoot 'their' carbine...

Jay had some sabot rounds there that he questioned..
until he fired them... with a smile on his face....

I probably saw you shoot, was sitting there in the chair.
