Picked this up today at a pawn shop… Good deal?

It’s a smith and Wesson model 640-3 357 mag
Was priced 475 and didn’t really haggle with the price other than no tax just cash out the door. was it a great deal or just a decent deal? I’m happy with the purchase just wondering what the going rate is today. Also weren’t these the 90s models? I’m fuzzy on the dash timings

Nice score. I haven't seen any deals at a pawn shop since I bought a Colt Bisley for 375 back in the early 90s.

I haven't seen a deal in years, but shortly before Y2K I picked up an IBM M1 Carbine and a Bulgarian commercial Makarov at a pawnshop for less than $400. For both. :oops:

The lock on that S&W might have made me hesitate for a second but I'd buy that today if I saw it. Good score!
