Most of our trucks are IRP plated in TN. Even though they're straight trucks, TN code requires the plate to be on the front. We get stopped all the time for it. Especially in PA.

She is recovering well, thanks for asking. Lying on the couch next to me now. It looks like there will be no permanent ill effects, and I think she will be back in the woods in a week or so 👍. I appreciate the concern expressed in the snakebite thread. This is probably our fifth copperhead bite (spread over several dogs) and so far all have ended well 🙏. This happened three days after she dug out from our fenced yard at dusk and spent the night evading us in the woods. She has her own mind, especially this time of year. God is probably getting tired of me asking Him to protect her. “Hello Jesus? It’s me again…”
 
Working near Old Fort today. I had to go into town for some drywall screws, caulk, and mouse-deterrent foam sealant, so I parked at the Mountain Gateway Museum & ate my lunch. Naturally, I had to take a few minutes to check out the Morgan and Stepp Cabins they have rebuilt on site. Pretty cool!

It’s not the trex, it’s the floor joist and support post. I see no hangers on the joist and for that much weight, there should have been some bracing underneath
 
Went to my mom’s house and cooked her supper this evening as it was her birthday. Noticed a house wren going in and out of the grill on her back porch. Opened it and found these

I get in a lot of vehicles that are low on gas. Fords will tell you how many miles to empty. Even when they say "0 miles to empty" you can get to the gas station about 3 miles away. Yesterday, I got in one that said 0 miles to empty. I started it up and when I put it in gear, it died. 0 meant 0 this time.

I had a nest in the shed last year. Other than getting agitated when I started the mower, pretty docile.

I've seen a couple buzzing around this year. Don't know where the nest is though.

Those are all cicada shells. I haven't seen any hornets yet this year.
