Pin Shoots

Are any ranges still holding pin shoots? I used to do them on a monthly basis back in Greenville, SC over a decade ago.

There’s a range in Mebane with pin shoots in their website—but none on the calendar so far as I can tell.

(I am looking for a reason to load something that isn’t a low-power bullseye load for once)

Big fan of Pin Shoots. I'm new here and might be kinda far away in the Horry County SC area, but hopefully others chime in with more info. I do have my own set of pins that I like to mix up with some steel. Just haven't found a club within decent driving time that allows members to bring their own equipment/stands.

I’ll bet if you could round up some old pins from an alley, there might be a guy that would shoot them with you.

We have Many cases of them here...there has been some interest in having a pin match..I told all I am IN as long as it is done exactly like the original Richard Davis Second Chance Pin Shoot...the main problem is coming up with the table..a proper table will cost around $400... 4'x8'x 3/8"... steel is crazy expensive right now...we put on Pin Matches in the '80s that had multiple guns, leather and Money prizes. I was beaten at one by Blake Gann who went on to either win or place second that same year in Michigan at the Big Shoot....Frank is right....I Love Shooting Pins!!!

Is your range in Conway? While I don't have that kind of table you speak of, I do have my own pins, stands, and steel. That way I don't ruin someone elses equipment.

But I am looking for range where they allow you to bring your own stands. I'd also be more than happy to assist in setup/teardown if a club hosts a match.
