Not sure if this is in the right spot or not, please move it if it isn't.

Currently in the winston salem area, but will hopefully be relocating towards hickory/statesville before too long..

Sold my last few bolt guns after getting the bug for one and then not being able to find anywhere close or affordable to shoot it passed 100 yards. Id really prefer 400+, the more the better of course.

if anyone knows of any spots around the winston/hickory/statesville area, let me know!

Thanks!

You can shoot to 300 in Wilkes or Boone, but have to be a member. Wilkes is $150, Boone is $150 +$50 initiation and you have to get the range brief (rules) and attend one meeting before shooting. All that being said, I'm a Member at Boone and if your ever in the area and want to check it out, let me know.

Where at in wilkes?

If you end up close to Hickory there is Bull's Eye in Vale. Membership options and open to the public hourly some. The shooting complex in Shelby, but I don't think the rifle range is open. Catawba Valley Rifle and Pistol, pricey and hard to get into. Catawba Valley Wildlife Club, a bit cheaper and easier to get into.

I'm a member at Catawba Valley Wildlife Club and could show you around if you get up here. We only have a 300 yard rifle range though. But honestly, it's hard to get past 300 around here. We just did a lot of improvements out there. We also have skeet, wobble trap, sporting clays, archery, and a pistol range.
