Plastic gun stippling....let's see them

Function...

When both the weapon and your hands are wet, stippling or other rough surfaces can aid in maintaining control.

Stippling is disgustingly hideous. Who would want rhino liner on a good pistol. Except for Unknownpro’s gun. I don’t get it plus it feels awful.

Sounds like you haven’t handled many stippled pistols. Unfortunately I don’t think any of us stopped to ask ourselves whether you would think it was pretty or not. Guess we all just cared more about our own opinions and experiences. Personally after doing my 19, all of my polymer carry guns will get the same treatment.

My apologies for giving my opinion little sensitive man.

I happen to like the look of a well done stippling job on most pistols but even if that were not the case what I certainly like even more is being able to maintain control of the gun in less than ideal conditions...

It's to help hold on to a slick gun....most guns have a real checkering on tbe front and backstrap....but to each their own

Plus, what constitutes “real checkering” does vary from person to person. I like something with real bite.

The only stock guns that I’m aware of that have an aggressive enough texture out of the box for my tastes are the P-10C and the M&P 2.0.

Everything else I’ve handled needed some help [emoji4]

Just out of curiosity, what's your idea of beauty? Not a bash, just a question
VZ, Lok, Cajun all have a texture type. I know they are not possible for poly guns. My Glock 17 is cerakote. Glock 43 has Talon stick ones. Best I saw on a poly was texture using laser cuts.

I rhino coated a truck utility service bed inside and out. Guys are asking about it every day. The cab was a $2500.00 photo wrap with lots of detail and they don’t even comment on it. Kids and women turn heads when they see the cab. Maybe I’m a woman trapped in a white man’s body.

I have this great idea. Take a glock or really any polymer lower. Remove all small parts until you are left with a single piece of poly. Fill the mag well with peanutbutter and give it to a dog. Let the dog work st it for a bit then take it away. Be sure to reward the mutt for giving it up with a treat. Sand down any rough or sharp protrusions, give it a good wash and reassemble.

This is a joke, please don't actually do this.

Lol... this was funny... I am guessing you are a 1911 guy? those all steel pistols really get you going?

If I used that mentality I would still be driving an all metal car from the 60s... that would suck..

Now I feel sorry for you..

No, I'm not a 1911 guy, I do want a steel framed CZ though.
I was just spurned on by a buddy's story of his bird dog chewing the stock of his shotgun.

I stipple all of my Glocks (too aggressive for my wife, so the 23 and 19 in the picture are left alone). It might be ugly, but they bite into my hands well and don’t move.

You are absolutely right, your stuff and my opinion shouldn’t matter a bit. I was just wondering if there was a reason to camo a pistol. “Because I wanted too” is as good a reason as anyone needs. Because freedom.

I had my Glock 19 done by GNP Tactical. It has a nice, sticky feel to it.

This was first adventure into stippling. If you recognize that grip please don't think less of me
