Folks with the state this country is in, and the Virus and political unrest, I'm asking if you have not been or even if you have been PLEASE pray daily for this country, for our leaders to do what God would want them to do, for our Military personal and our first responders.

My wife and I pray for our country everyday although we are becoming more and more disillusioned but we always end with: TRUST IN GOD, HE HAS A PLAN FOR US

I have faith that we will work things out. It is easy to get all worked up and become convinced that our fellow countrymen are truly evil and disaster is just around the corner. It is easy to convince yourself that all is lost. I put it in perspective. There are always people who think this. I vividly recall a conversation with some oldtimers who talked about how all the radicals were going to destroy everything, the government was a bunch of idiots and life as we know it would end very soon. They almost convinced me. That was 1979, and somehow we have managed to keep going.
Prayer helps, of course.

Wife and I have been doing this for a long while. We will continue, even if things get better. Not praying during good times leads to bad times . Not praying during bad times leads to worse times.

The dutifully 'elected' Congress of the United States of America is conducting an impeachment trial in direct violation of the Constitution with no mandated presiding judge (Chief Justice of the Supreme Court). Patrick Leahy is the officiant. I can tell you, we are in for very dark times ahead.

I do pray for it. But I am not convinced God wants to do anything about it. I often wonder if He just created us and sat back to watch: “Have at it, boys, let’s see how you do.”

Reformed believers (aka Calvinists) will tell you God predetermined ALL things for His glory, so we really have no choice in the matter.

I do not believe God meddles in the affairs of men. I do believe he invites you to follow his will each day and it is your choice to do so or not. Live rolls along wonderfully if you do.

Evil chooses otherwise.
