I have some sought of blockage on the cold water side at the kitchen sink. All other faucets in the house work fine. I took the valve out and checked and it is definitely in the line. Valve is fine. I had this happen about 15 years ago and a plumber showed me how to unblock it, but I do not remember exactly what he did.

This is what I think he did. I believe he shut the water off at the water heater. He then at one of the faucets (may have been the tub) turned the water on and blocked the faucet with his hand to apply back pressure. I need HELP! I just do not remember anymore.

Does this trick sound familiar to anyone?

Take the line off the shutoff under the sink and see if there is water there. Could have some crud building up on the stem/seat of the shutoff. If no good there, shut off water to house and pull the stem out of the shut off and check it.

I got down under the sink this morning. Disconnected line. It is crud in the shut off valve. Went to box store and they only had the cheap valves so I ordered on Amazon. Will be here Sunday. Will install Monday. Sunday is a skeet day.
